Hazel Favel a cherished resident of Ibis Care Miranda who is 109 years of age was invited to the annual Sutherland Shire Centenarians Morning Tea at Hazelhurst Arts Centre on Friday 30th May.
Hazel was joined by other centenarians and members of her family for high tea hosted by Cr Jack Boyd Mayor of Sutherland Shire Council.
The annual event celebrates the lives and contributions of local residents who have reached the remarkable milestone of 100 years or more.
The morning was made all the more memorable with a lively musical performance, adding a festive and heartwarming touch to the occasion.
The event continues to be a highlight on the local calendar, recognising the rich history and enduring spirit of the Shire’s most senior community members.
