Charter of Aged Care

At Ibis Care, we diligently adhere to the Charter of Aged Care Rights (the Charter), which is in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997. These legislated rights ensure that all our consumers receive standardised, high-quality care and services.

The Charter empowers you, your family, carer, or representative to know what to expect from the care and services provided by Ibis Care. Safety, Infection Prevention and Control

At Ibis Care our priority is the health and safety of residents in our care. We have a comprehensive infection prevention and control program with measures in place to minimise transmission to residents and staff.

All necessary steps are taken to prevent, detect and control the spread of infections through an effective program that is in line with national guidelines. Staff are educated and trained on best-practice infection prevention and control.

Visitors and residents are frequently informed and reminded of the need for using measures that prevent infection transmission such as good hand hygiene and mask wearing.
