Ibis Care Blakehurst has welcomed a new manager Elizabeth Armstrong (Hospitality Manager) and introduced a notable volunteer couple, Aron Wong and his wife Kylii. Aron, born in Hawaii and educated at Georgetown University, currently works as an Aged Care Consultant and holds significant positions on several boards. Kylii, born in Sydney, graduated from UTS with a Business Degree and has worked as a Strategic Advisor.
The couple, married in 2017 and living in Oatley, shares a commitment to helping others and frequently volunteers at Ibis Care. During Australia’s National Volunteer Week, they were honoured and expressed gratitude for the heartwarming experiences and friendships they’ve developed at Blakehurst. The passage also details a heartening story of resident Philippa Holy, her background, her love story with Zdenek, and their family history, reflecting the close-knit and familial atmosphere of the community.
