Presented by the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC), the award honours the legacy of Dr Joan Faoagali—a pioneer in microbiology and infection control whose work continues to shape healthcare education and practice. Each year, the award supports a self-funded practitioner through ACIPC’s Foundations course, continuing her mission to raise standards in healthcare.
