Ibis Care is proud to announce that they will once again participate in the Memory Walk & Jog in Cronulla on 1st March to support Dementia Australia’s vital work in research, advocacy, and community support.
This year, the Ibis Care team will again be walking, jogging, and running with a shared purpose, to help stop dementia in its tracks.
James Carter, CEO of Ibis Care explains that Ibis Care’s staff are quite passionate about this cause and that he is proud to see his team continue its commitment to the Memory Walk.
“Last year, our team showed incredible spirit, walking with the community and raising $8,000 for this important cause. In 2026, we’re aiming higher.”
“Our team will return to Cronulla with a new goal of doubling our participation to 50 staff, and a higher fundraising target of $15,000 for Dementia Australia.”
“Many of us have personally had dementia touch our lives whether it be a parent, grandparent or a resident who is living with dementia,” says Mr Carter.
“This event is a reminder of the strength and unity within our community, and reaffirms our dedication to supporting every Australian affected by dementia.”
More than just a fundraising event, the Memory Walk unites families, friends, and local organisations in standing alongside those living with dementia, a cause that sits at the heart of aged care.
Every contribution helps strengthen essential support services, empower carers, and fuel research that brings hope to individuals and families affected by dementia.
“I am looking forward to joining the team on the day walking alongside staff and the community,” adds Mr Carter.
